Uni officially started last Wednesday and since then, I’ve been reading/doing homework nonstop. Its a little crazy but no one ever said earning a BA would be easy. Although i did not expect to read pages upon pages of text about Asia’s monsoons and our society’s misconception about time… which are topics that dont necessarily seem like they have anything to do with my major or the courses that I’m taking *shrugs*

Anyways, i’m totally loving uni life and getting use to living by myself (aparto-chan is all set up and comfortable and ♥ ♥ ♥) I go home every weekend tho… cause i get homesick real easily. Especially when i’m eating top ramen every night XD Damn, i miss my mom’s homemade chinese food (^~^)

I dont have a TV in my room yet cause my dad doesnt want to get me a new one - while i refuse to take the small chunky one that i use to have in my room. But i’m gonna need one soon. Cause i’m missing all my BravoTV shows and TOP CHEF NEW YORK IS COMING SOON!!! I CANNOT MISS THIS SEASON. Plus, the Project Runway finale is next week. AS;DLKFJ Bravo-nerd desu.

[Takki tidbits]

An eyewitness blogged about seeing Takki at Narita airport on August 29th. She was waiting for her flight (to Guam) to come and apparently saw Takki and four other guys at the same gate, Gate 25. It was early, so Takki seemed sleepy and quinted several times. The lucky eyewitness made eye contact with him twice.

Now that i think about it… that sounds really weird because Takki shouldve been in Guam already. The Kokuchisezu crew shouldve landed in Guam on August 21st… so i dunno. Maybe she got her dates wrong. Or maybe it wasnt Takki at all. Anyways…

A (Japanese) housewife who lives in Vietnam blogged about Takki’s recent trip to Cambodia. Her husband, who was returning to Japan, emailed her upon his arrival at Narita airport. He said that he was sitting close to Takki, who was smoking and Takki apparently asked to borrow a lighter. He overheard Takki and the staff’s conversation about AIDS and it seemed like they had just gotten back from Cambodia. Takki was tan and had sunglasses on. The blog entry was posted Spetember 19th.

These past couple of days, my family and i have been busy moving all of my stuff into my new place. I’m missing some clothes, a TV, and some other miscellaneous crap, but other that, im pretty much all moved in. When i spent my first night here, i couldnt really sleep… felt a little insecure and woke up everytime i heard a car pass by. But last night, i slept like a baby lol

I really like living by myself, even though i admit that it can be a little boring sometimes. But i live only a block away from the busiest street in town, so its really not hard to find food/entertainment. My apartment complex is pretty quiet too. Last night, there was a drinking party upstairs and all the running around got a little annoying (Asian bitches knocked on my door asking for a wine opener and scared the shit out of me), but other than that… its AWESOME.

So i called the International Studies department last week and they told me that my advisor was on vacation. I called again this morning and made an appointment for Thursday. I’m a tad bit nervous… I just hope its not too late for me to declare a major. But this is sorta what confuses/bugs me? Any undergrad in good standing may declare Asian Studies as their major. But Asian Studies is under International Studies, which is a reallllly competitive department and hard to get into. So… yea. Lots of ???’s to ask on Thursday.

Anyways.

Koichi mentioned Takki during KK’s con MC on 9/13 (he was talking about the SUMMARY show that he, Takki, and Inocchi went to). And it seems like Takki was at the FC yesterday. Hell, i dont even know if thats true or not. God knows Takitsuba fans are getting so bored, we’re starting to make up news and rumors.

Speaking of T&T… a lot of RUDE things have been going on lately. Dont know if its because we’re all frustrated by the fact that theres absolutely nothing going on… or if its because common courtesy and respect is starting to become a thing in the past… like

- the bitch who stole the Anniversary project idea (HERRO, WHO DOES THAT)
- the way Avex neglects T&T’s site (they didnt even post an anniversary message!!)
- the customer service at Akibado (… still waiting for my Koiuta signatures a;slkdjf)
- oh and my favorite. The way people act when u are apparently in their way.

Like no joke, this happened at IKEA and at Uwajimaya. I was standing in front of a product that i was looking at and i could feel someone staring at me from behind. APPARENTLY, i was in their way, but they didnt say “Excuse me” or “Pardon me” and just decided to stare at me in a “Um, u’re in my way” kind of manner — thinking that that would make me move off to the side.

But I stood there thinkin ”Um, no bitch. Your ass can wait until I’m done.” 
But they got impatient and left. (takes the fun right out of it)

SERIOUSLY, PEOPLE THESE DAYS. 
Ugh yea, people like to walk or stand in front of me while i’m trying to take pictures too.
Sometimes, i wish my dad was really a mafia boss so I could kill some people!!

If you look at it that way, it doesnt seem like T&T have been together for a long time (this is of course measuring them as a unit and does not include the Golden Jr Days). But its amazing if you look at how much impact theyve had on us since Year 1, Day 1. How much theyve sacrificed for us, how much we’ve paid for them, and how much this obsession has affected our once-healthy lifestyles. To any therapist, this sort of behaviour is without a doubt, a cry for help and change. But the idea of us throwing away our rare fan articles, deleting all the precious files in our harddrives, and attempting to live a day without missing the “dokidoki feeling” is preposterous.

Over the months and years, we’ve developed a weakness for them. No matter how many times people have rolled their eyes at us, we continue to do absurd things for another taste of that “natural high.” It bothers me however, that in today’s society, it seems absolutely okay for people to spend hundreds and thousands on shoes and sports, but it is considered “stupid” for us to spend so much of our attention on a talented person/group that we admire. Such theories just screams hypocrisy to me.

Getting back to the point. Even though we are occasionally catagorized as Takki-lovers, Tsubasa-lovers, and Unit-lovers, we are all incredibly grateful for the existence of the irreplaceable two and are thankful to have them in our lives.

Had dinner and a much needed fangirl meeting with Naughtiest a couple hours ago.
Feeling better, but still dying for more unit activities.

I dont think Takki mentioned the actual name of the place in any of the articles (dunno, havent read Duet, Potato, or Wink Up yet) but according to Google Image… it sure looks the same. Its signature lettuce + pineapple + red bench table. Oishisou da ne!

I have absolutely no luck with Takki-endorsed merchandises.
Insurance, i can definitely buy, but the problem is… I’m not in Japan!

Ironic that hes doing an insurance CM when he is the reason why we need insurance in the first place!! haha I wonder what the CMs are gonna be like… in the past, Maya Miki (Shizue-san from BDNM) and Ishihara Satomi (Shizuka from Yoshitsune) have done CMs for them too. It seems like this Zorro character is the company’s mascot. Its a good idea to give out Zorro-Takki clearfiles tho. I want one!!

[Takki tidbits]

Takki, Koichi-san, and Inocchi-san went to see SUMMARY yesterday (8/4 at 13:00)
They were sitting in J block, 10th row and in the same order.
Takki was wearing a white shirt, black pants, and a black/gray hat.

Takki was cracking. up. during the monomane corner.  
Before ABC performed, Takki walked out on stage and pulled on Tsuka-chan’s shirt.
When Morimoto-kun was flying thru the air during the HEY!SAY!JUMP performance,
Takki waved at Mori-kun (with both his hands) and then covered his mouth with his right hand
almost like he had just made a boo-boo. KAWAIIIII ♥

During the juggling section, they introduced the guests. Takki, Koichi-san, and Inocchi-san stood up.
I think this was part of the act, but they asked for a volunteer from the audience to help with the juggling.
Inocchi nominated Takki (LOL), but in the end, Inocchi went up and helped.

It feels like i’ve been in this fandom for ages… but in actuality, its only my fourth year. Sadly, i’ve been having Takki-withdrawls lately. Too much (emotionally-stressful) stuff going on in RL and too bored from the drought. It almost makes me feel like i’m not into T&T anymore. But its become such a major part of my life, I refuse to believe that thats actually happening. I really shouldnt even be thinking about such a horrid thing, especially with T&T’s 6th anniversary just around the corner.

But recently, i’ve been trying to distance myself from the fandom. I’m not pissed at any of my lovely ladies, nor am i annoyed by the people who are kind enough to leave me occasional I♥U notes. I’m just frustrated at how ’spread out’ our fandom has become. We’re gaining new fans, which is wonderful news for our boys, but at the same time, we’re not feeling as UNITED as we use to. I dont think anyone has even mentioned hosting a 6th anniversary project - assuming we’re all just gonna make and send out our own cards.  

Not producing a project does not however mean that we love them any less than the year before. It just questions the strength (? not sure if thats the word i’m looking for) of our growing community. Of course, it could just be me and my tendency to look too deeply into things. But sometimes, i wish that our fandom could be as fun, loving, and respectful as it use to be. I hate to admit it, but the fact that i feel this way is a problem in itself.

Reality has kicked me pretty hard in the shins too. With uni starting and rent to pay, spending so much on photos and miscellaneous merchandise seems somewhat… childish (even though its hard to resist the *click click click*). I’m just surprised my dad has been so tolerant with the massive spending i’ve been doing since the very beginning of this obsession. I wouldve kicked my child’s ass to the curb if they dared to ask me for $200 bucks for three plastic-boxed DVDs.

I really dont want to give up on T&T though. Christ, thats all i’ve been talking/thinking about these past four years. Many times I’ve considered shutting down my blog because 1) summer break is coming to an end. Once school starts, RL will probably occupy most of my time and 2) sometimes it feels like i’m obligated to do translations, and not necessarily because i want to do them. But i really do want to give a big *HUG* to all my lovely ladies for always being so supportive and caring.

But lets be real here. If T&T dont release an album or info about an event sometime soon… i think we’re all gonna go crazy (Smarttttt. Releasing an insurance CM during such a terrible drought lol) I already have plans for my winter break, but IF the Kuricon tradition continues… UGHHHH i’m gonna be in some deep doo-doo. Because a $380 airticket from HK to Japan during high-season is really rare and irresistable. Goddamn morals. orz 

Anyways, 4th year and still going (considerably) strong! T&T, you are the bestttttt ♥ ♥ ♥
