Takki Impostor!
since 4am i’ve been continuously refreshing the TCJ and CDjapan pages… *lol*
both Tower & Shinseido have the pre-orders up already. so its only a matter of time! ^^
but while i was browsing Yesasia, my jaw fell and i sat in my chair in utter confusion for 5 minutes when i saw that Takizawa Hideaki had apparently written a book thats on sale at yesasia!!
(^^;) FEAR NOT!
Our Tono didnt actually write a book about “Children who couldn’t become adults and adults who want to become children” LOL its actually some other guy with the same name (滝沢 英昭).
WTFFFF, for a second i seriously thought that it was really our Takizawa Hideaki who had written a book and i felt like the worse fan / the last person on the face of the planet to find out about it!! Such a crime is almost as sinful as being a T&T fan who doesnt know or remember the Takitsuba anniversary date… *cough* people seriously need to go to fandom-hell for that…
the title sounds interesting tho… and it was released on March 19, 2006.
it wouldve been REALLY CREEP if it was released on Takki’s bday.
Waking up happy
came home after my last class and dropped dead on the couch XD
i woke up at around midnight to a very lovely surprise…
Tono, hontoni omedetou gozaimasu!!! ♥ ♥ ♥
heres a big ass middle finger to those who didnt fully support the idea of a solo CD!! HA!!
i dont care what anyone says. Its official and its going to be released soon.
And Takki fans are going to buy multiple copies.
AS;DLFKJ i just cant wait to hear/see whats inside the CD!!!
its being released on the 7th, but i wonder if they’ll sell it at the venue before the release?
I’m just so proud of him… (↑ υ ↑)
i was watching some Jr clips of him doing his infamous AI~~~N!
who knew that after a whole decade, Takki would still be so incredibly successful?
he definitely has the features of a star. theres no doubt about that.
but i dont think his face is the only thing that has gotten him this far ne.
滝沢さん、これからもずっとずっと応援してます〜
3 commentsWinter of Love
finally got a chance to sit down and listen to CHEMISTRY’s new ballad album, Winter of Love. omg. now this is what i call beautiful music. I was ecstatic when i saw that there was going to be a Chemistry version of Christmas Eve in the album (a chemi version of any song is sure to be awesome lol). That became one of my favorite Xmas songs after hearing Takki sing it at Takkuricon… ♥ Other than Christmas Eve, im also in love with Love is Over and Saigo no Kawa *melts*
Why cant T&T come up with a Xmas ballad album… sighhh….
on saturday, there was a deadly shooting at Southcenter Mall where one teen was killed. And the reason why im mentioning this is because my mom and i were actually planning to shop there yesterday. But after brunch, we were too lazy to leave the house and we ended up not going. ^__^; that would’ve been scary… everyone was evacuated and the police went on a search around every store looking for the shooter (O_o)
and i just checked the price on Jan 1 kakumei tickets. the most expensive one on TCJ is 90,000yen?!? baby jesus, r u serious?? DO U KNOW HOW MANY BURBERRY WALLETS I CAN GET AT ODAKYU WITH 90,000YEN?! Four. (and i kno this because my dad got a whole day’s worth of the “silent treatment” after failing to get my mom a wallet when he was in JP a few days ago *LOL*) I dont think anyone is desperate enough to pay close to 1K for a single ticket… the seller’s gotta come up with a more reasonable price…damn greedy dafuyas.
2 commentsBrrrrr Nigga Nigga
*LMAO*
my neighbors (a bunch of guys that like to watch football at 12am every night) just opened their window and yelled “BRRRRR NIGGA NIGGA!!” omg. im cracking up. u retards are inconsiderate and loud, but really friggin hilarious.
anyways. life has been pretty awesome lately. Mostly because my December and January plans are almost settled. Yesterday, i had to make hotel reservations again because they finally had a room open on Dec 31 (the schedule was full two weeks ago). So now, i dont have to go back and forth between hotels and i can just stay in the same one during my entire trip.
Today in lecture, Naoko-san suddenly turned to me and gave me a February 2004 Poporo *lol* During our mid-lecture break, we flipped through the mag and talked about SMAP, Higashiyama-sama, and of course Takki… whom i was staring at during the entire second half of lecture… hehe. Iyaaa~ Naoko-san, hontouni arigatou gozaimashita! kore wo daiji ni suru ne!
and this is really random, but my apartment still smells like pepperonchino pasta - which i made for dinner LOL un~ living by myself surely has its advantages because now i can actually cook! i cant say that my cooking is delicious, but it is at least EDIBLE (which is a major improvement! XD)
No commentsObsessive Consumerism
we’ll be reading Fanning the Flames in class soon. OMGICANTWAIT!! [/nerd]
This time I’m posting Chapter 3 : Buying Intimacy.
Although this section is about a rock band called Alfee (one of the members is a regular on Domoto Kyoudai), we can definitely relate to the topic it discusses : fan consumerism.
Some of us use the “we have to complete the collection” excuse and some of us prefer the “i just cant help it!” explanation. Whatever reason it may be, we have (willingly) become victims of an addiction. And a major reason why we’ve tolerated this habit of “wasting money” is because it is our indirect way of supporting T&T. It also makes us feel giddy and gives us a sense of satisfaction when we hold the purchased goods in our hands. An occasional high that we’re willing to pay the time and money for.
This is particularly true for overseas fans, a topic that the author of this book fails to mention about. Much of the book focuses on the behavior of inland fans - those with easy access to fandom sources. For overseas fans, we are actually paying AT LEAST twice as much as the Japanese fans are paying, yet we get the same amount (if we’re lucky) or less of T&T in return. If expressible through math, the equation would look like
(fangirling³ X buying of goods²) + x number of airtickets
÷ y hours of translations, missed sleep, d/ling, and u/ling
= OVERSEAS FANDOM
If simply clicking the “add to cart” button makes us feel THAT MUCH happier, THAT MUCH closer to T&T, and THAT MUCH better as devoted fans, its considered well worth the price (even though we might complain about it before + after our goods arrive). As my mom always says (in Cantonese) “A problem that can be solved with money, is not a problem at all.”
Of course, theres also the debate about whether or not those “non-buyers” in the fandom should be considered fans… that is however an entirely different topic that i will not get into for the sake of sanity! But i will shut up now and let u guys get to the good stuff

3 commentsAnan Sex Issue
rush is over… *sigh*
last night, i rewatched Kokuchisezu and (finally!!) my eyes got all watery during the scene where Mama told Papa that she would follow him wherever he goes and that she would never leave his side… (T__T) and of course the scene where Ryo-kun completely broke down and wept. Iyaaa~~ the professionalism of all the actors made the drama seem realistic / believeable (? not really the work im looking for). It just pulls u into the story and makes u feel like you’re watching the events as it occurs. Dunno how to explain it. Its not like any of the dramas that ive seen.
Anyways. when i was walking home after class, i passed by this cute asian boy who looked like Narimiya Hiroki from Ima Ai ni Yukimasu. I kept thinking about Hiroki-kun until i got home and decided to google-image the guy. Apparently, he appeared in ANAN magazine’s sex issue in 2005. The pics were (O ¬ O) quite sinful!! LOLL And then i found out that YamaP was recently featured in one of the sex issues too! Those shots mustve been quite pleasant yet painful to look at for YamaP fans…
But then i thought “Takki should be on the next issue.”
preferably a SOLO shoot, of course! XD but i cant even imagine how many hours of nosebleeding that would cause! asd;lfkj What, we’ve only seen half a buttcheek in BDNM, Taiyou no Kisetsu, and the Kamen PV?? we want more yo!!! hahaha i dunno about u guys, but i miss seeing Tono’s six packs.
Anan, onegaishimasu~! (≥ υ ≤)

One of Takki’s best dramas.
its obvious that his acting has improved a LOT. Those expressive eyes and his crying face… Yet surprisingly i didnt cry when i watched it for the first time this morning. I dont understand why, but I rarely cry during movies or dramas. My mom often says that im “cold-blooded” and in reply i would normally say, “well unlike somebody, i dont cry about EVERYTHING!” XD But even though i didnt feel really emotional, i did feel a light tug at my heart during the ironic scenes…
I did a ridiculous amount of giggling and squee-ing during the Guam part tho. i couldnt stop repeating the scenes where he was talking in Engrish. His “Everything’s fine” sounded so perfect, i was absolutely stunned. God, i wish there couldve been more of those scenes… even though it wouldve been taihen for Tono ^_^;
Its true that a lot of us would’ve preferred a a series rather than a SP drama. But think about it this way. For these exclusive productions, the directors are looking for the BEST of the best in the geinokai. Since Yoshitsune ended, the fact that Takki has been chosen to star in a variety of SP dramas signifies his reputation as a highly recognized and respected actor.
So even though a series drama would be super awesome, these special dramas are looking REALLYYYY good on Takki’s resume, which is in my opinion more important than anything else. Not to mention, Watari-san’s compliments to Takki. That in itself is a huge honor for both Takki and us Takki fans. Takizawa-san, we’re so proud of you~~~ (^ 3 ^) ~*
4 commentsOn another note…
so after days of thinking and comparing products… i finally got a new laptop yesterday. My old Sony VAIO was beautiful, but unbearably heavy and the keys were loud. After a while, i just completely stopped using it… and since i have two lecture courses next quarter and a couple of longggg ass plane rides in December, i figured it was the appropriate time to get a new laptop-chan. I’m lovin it *squibbles*
i was really mad when the online TV froze last night. I basically missed 2/3 of Kokuchisezu because the TV was being retarded. So basically, i stayed up for nothing *sigh* and since i woke up this morning, i’ve been stalking clubboxes and fan sites for the download… hopefully, a HD version will be uploaded soon. but in the meanwhile, u guys can watch it here @
http://www.veoh.com/videos/v166308074RTsYDzT
of course, u do have to register and install Veoh. but after watching the 5 minute preview for Kokuchisezu… its really worth the wait (and it downloads faster than clubbox!!) Will write a review later ^___^
